For some reason I am in some sort of weird late 80’s early 90’s dance mood. So, here we go. Top 5 dance tracks from that time. Seems like the more obnoxious the better.
And in no particular order
Dee Lite – Groove is in the heart
Snap – The Power
Nenah Cherry – Buffalo Stance
M.A.R.R.S. – Pump up the Volume
Expose – Point of No Return

Top 5 Concept Albums
It’s been a little while since I posted a new top 5, but out of a recommendation from my friend John, I bring you the Top 5 concept album list.
Now I know, some will vary on what they believe is a concept album, but general definition is an album that is unified by a single theme. I am sure this will be all over the place, but let’s have some fun with it.
Here are my Top 5 concept albums.
1. David Bowie – The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars
2. Neutral Milk Hotel – In the Aeroplane Over the Sea
3. Pink Floyd – The Wall
4. The Who – Quadrophenia
5. The Flaming Lips – Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots
Put your top 5 in the comments section.

Lollapalooza 2009
It's right around the corner and I am starting to get really excited. On the side of this you will notice a new playlist I created that is filled with bands that will be playing this weekend in Grant Park.
If you are torn on whether to go or not, give it a listen and see if anything strikes your fancy.
