Last week I think I used up just about every bit of luck that I might of had in my lifetime. Why? Well, just take a look at the picture below.
As Ozzie Guillen and Jerry Reinsdorf visited Springfield, I got to be their escort around the capital. My job was to take them from the car to the Governor's office to the House Floor. Yeah it was pretty cool. I also got to hold the Commissioner's trophy.
I might not of been able to go to the world series, but 80,000 other people did. I don't think those 80,000 got to hold the Commissioner's trophy and personally thank the manager and the owner for such an amazing year of baseball in Chicago.
Thank you, I can't wait for Spring Training.
